Jarel Zhang’s SS18 runway show was a festival for the eyes. This year at New York Fashion Week, Zhang re-invented a construction zone turning the runway into an active working site. Hues of cobalt, purple, fire engine red and electric yellow caught the attention of the audience as the line offered some major eye-candy.
Zhang drew inspiration from the streets of New York City as most of the city is in a constant state of construction. The creativity that was born out of the hustle and bustle that so many New Yorkers navigate walking to work each day, was captured in the collection.
