Now we all know everything Rihanna does is amazing, but at the FENTY PUMA show in Paris, she really outdid herself. The show and the line were inspired to take you back to a day in high school as the songstress brought guests into the Richelieu-Louvois Library. Besides the pops of color and funkadellic inspired RiRi fashion, there was too much to love!
In a behind the scenes video, Rihanna dishes about her inspiration behind the collection. She created designs made for any and every type of clique you could think of. She said the line was inspired by the fact that she could never dress up when she was in school since they had to wear a uniform. The line was her way of expressing the feelings she had towards not being able to dress the way she wanted.
The state of the art library that hosted the show is a feast for the eyes, to say the least. From top to bottom, the walls dazzled in gold. The Fenty Class of 2017 lineup of models were also eye-candy for the crowd as well including some of the biggest models in fashion whose careers are taking off right now. This includes Joan Smalls, Stella Maxwell, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Grace Elizabeth. Of course, Cara Delevingne made a cameo appearance showing support to her long-time close friend.
We can’t help but think that with these awesome looks, she’s going to have students running to their first day of school, just to strut their stuff in FENTY for fall. By then we’re sure that if you are in school, even your teachers will be asking where you got your ensemble! Upgrade your wardrobe and shop the FENTY X PUMA collection on their website.
