For the fourth year, iconic department store chain Macy’s has launched their ‘American Icons’ summer campaign to celebrate all things that make America great. Macy’s launched this campaign as a way to not only convey summer fashion trends through celebrities and musicians, but also as a way to give back. You can share your #AmericanSelfie through June 19th and Macy’s will donate $1 up to $250,000 to Got Your 6, a nonprofit that provides aid to military veterans and their families.
Macy’s is bringing new trends and styles to the spotlight by debuting them on the stage. Big time singers and songwriters such as teen sensation Austin Mahone, country pop star Kelsea Ballerini and superstar Adam Lambert will be showing off Macy’s clothes and designs on stage as style icons for shoppers and style seekers alike.
What we love about this campaign is that it takes the idea of music genres and applies it to the fashion world. This summer, your fashion style and music taste are going to align hand in hand. Jazz has taken a more modern-chill style with looks from Tommy Hilfiger.
